This was my second visit, this time on my own. The view from the location was superb. Everything growing was very green, so plenty of rain. In fact, it rained for most of the next two days !! My only concern whilst at the hut was an example of a draught from the windows. I still have to master the wood burner next ! Hide

We spent 6 days and had a lovely relaxing break. Comfortable bed, clean and well situated. Bonus of being less than 10 minute drive to Ludlow, Clee Hill and Mortimer forest, ideal for dog walks. Plenty of supermarkets around to allow for self catering, and pubs and restaurants for eating out. Spectacular views, peaceful with sheep and donkeys on thRead moree field next to the hut. Garden enclosed but I suspect smaller dogs might be able to get through the fences. Would stay again. Hide

We had a fabulous stay in this shepherds hut, it was very cosy but had everything we needed and more. A lovely welcome pack awaited us, and the owners were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. We would definitely recommend a stay here, waking up to fantastic views, and a good chance to recharge your batteries!

A beautiful and well maintained Shepherds Hut in the perfect location. The sheep were an added benefit and gave the hut an authentic feel. Plenty of parking and within just a few miles of Ludlow itself.

Very relaxing time had at this shepherd's hut. Just what I needed. Really cook to have an oven and a TV which you don't always get in shepherd's huts. Although the garden is enclosed with a fence, if you have a Houdini dog like mine, take a long lead. My dog would have been straight through the fence and chasing all the sheep!!
