Great base to explore the local area. Views across and down the valley are enticing. Cottage is lovely to come back to after a day in the outdoors, or for chilling on a rest day. We really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely lovely cottage. I've stayed in my fair share of dumps but this definitely wasn't one. Lovely views, nice big bedrooms, comfortable beds. We did think the lawn area at the side of our cottage was for our personal use, until I saw the neighbour walk past my living room window a few times... Surrounding fields are quite steep, not good for dodgRead morey knees (like mine!) but good to wear the kids out! Cottage is very much in the middle of nowhere tho, bit of a drive to get anywhere.
