Cottage in a lovely, quiet location. There was tea, coffee, sugar & milk waiting for us on arrival with some delicious welsh cakes! A great little cottage, ideal for a couple. We were lucky with the weather and could make the most of the location and sit outside most days. Right on the forest entrance so walks on doorstep, and 30 mins from Brecon Beacons, 45 mins to great beaches.

Ideal place for a quiet holiday. A forest you can walk to straight out of the garden. If you want lots of facilities on your doorstep, forget it, this is not for you! A place to getaway for a quiet time...then yes it is and was for us.

What a gem of a cottage, a special place to visit on the edge of the forest, with no neighbours just what we wanted, as a couple with our two dogs, who loved the chance to roam and explore the garden and woodland on the doorstep. The cottage was cosy, well equipped, clean and super value for money. The owner came to say hi and gave us tips for placRead morees to eat/visit which was so helpful. There is a shooting range nearby which if your dog is nervous is worth noting. But cant fault this wee gem!! Hide

A great place for young energetic people and a big garden for children and dogs to play in. Spotting my first bullfinch on the first day was a thrill as were the swallows lining up on the line. Plenty of hot water and comfortable beds.
