The town is well known for its gourmet food and drink with some fantastic eateries and pubs that all champion local ingredients. Ludlow has a rich history that is reflected in the stunning architecture and is home to over 500 listed buildings. Enjoy a stroll through the ancient town centre and be sure to visit the stunning medieval castle. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and provides many opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and fishing. The cottage is within easy reach of many other popular destinations including the UNESCO heritage site at Ironbridge (25 miles), Shrewsbury (27 miles) and the traditional market town of Bridgnorth (18 miles) with the country’s oldest and steepest funicular railway.

From the lounge, head upstairs and there are two lovely bedrooms, one double and one single, making this cottage a great choice for couples, small families or friends looking to explore the area. The cottage has been decorated thoughtfully throughout creating a lovely, homely feel. Also upstairs is the bathroom which has a shower.

The main outdoor space to this property is the garden to the front which is enclosed and has garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ for you to use. This is a fantastic space to enjoy a drink or some food alfresco with views across to the local church. To the rear of the property is a useful shed which is used as the utility room with access to a washer/dryer and full size fridge/freezer, perfect for those longer stays in Ludlow. The cottage was quite compact and in our opinion the second bedroom was not suitable for an adult. Our friend had no room to hang anything up. No mirror etc. waterproof mattress cover on the bed. The bathroom door did not shut without force-noisy. shower ran both hot and cold without warning. freezer was housed out in the shed. Which meant every tiRead moreme I wanted something I had to go outside and unlock the shed. No light in the shed. A very pleasant cottage and location with minor adjustments Hide

The cottage is cute and cosy, clean, quite well equipped and a nice location. There's a shop, take away and cafe just around the corner and the town is only 15 min walk away. Managed to find parking not too far away on nearby roads. A great base to explore Ludlow (we enjoyed the Ludlow food festival) and the surrounding area.

A pretty cottage in a residential suburb (nice neighbourhood), 20 mins easy and pleasant walk into the historic centre of Ludlow. Parking in side streets was no problem at all. Small grocery store a few steps away for all basic short-stay needs. Well equipped and charming cottage. We had a very comfortable stay, great recliner sofas, great tv, greaRead moret mattresses, lovely kitchen. Great location for cycling out of town and into the countryside in all directions. Hide

Cosy and well-equipped accommodation in a unusual setting of a row of terraced cottages set back from the road.

Small but good cottage in Ludlow. A 20 min walk to the centre of Ludlow, but near to large Sainsbury's and a short drive to Ludlow Farm shop. Very comfortable chair and sofa in living room. Kitchen has table to eat round. Garden best for sitting out with morning coffee.

Lovely little cottage in a peaceful location on the edge of Ludlow. A ten- fifteen minute walk into the town centre. Parking near the property was a bit hard to find on a couple of occasions. I would recommend it to a couple or single person as a comfortable place to stay to enjoy the delights of South Shropshire.

A really cosy cottage in a quiet location . 20 mins easy walk into town . Many places of interest to visit in the area . The Stairs would be a problem for some people as they are quite steep . Nicely modernised , we used the electric radiators on two nights downstairs and they were quire efficient. Comfortable beds and pillows .

Lovely cottage, comfortable beds and very clean. Would have been nice to have had a few more oven dishes/pans and a cafetire. All in all a lovely stay.

Lovely cosy little cottage in a quiet oasis. Although there was no allocated parking we had no problem parking two cars on the road close to the cottage. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Glovers cottage is tucked away in a delightful little row of Victorian terraces . It is well placed to explore Ludlow. Though small, it is well appointed . The living room suite is comfortable. The double bed mattress is firm and the single bed mattress is medium firm. We enjoyed our stay.

Glovers is a sweet cottage providing perfect accommodation for a visit to lovely Ludlow. Within easy walking distance to the town. I used it as a base to meet up with old friends and family over the Easter period. Highly recommend.
