It’s a perfect place for family and friends to enjoy coastal living. The village offers a range of eateries, independent shops, events, and water sports including paddleboarding, windsurfing and sailing. Being at the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park, Aberdovey is where the mountains meet the sea at the mouth of the River Dyfi, with many trails and footpaths to explore. Golfers are also well catered for with an 18-hole championship links golf course. Visit Dolgoch Falls, the Vale of Rheidol Railway, the Talyllyn Railway, the Corris Craft Centre and King Arthur’s Labyrinth, all within 10 miles.

Walk into this detached house, full of all the thoughtful luxuries to enhance your stay in this upside-down former coach house, now a gorgeous coastal residence. The hall leads to the utility boot room with space for your outdoor attire alongside the washing machine and tumble dryer. All the sumptuous bedrooms are on the ground floor, designed with your comfort in mind and a good night’s sleep. Choose from three spacious bedrooms: two with king-size beds, TV and en-suite shower, or the super-king-size with Smart TV, French doors into the garden and en-suite shower room. Head upstairs to the elegant and spacious lounge/diner with fabulous estuary views from the bay window. Relax on the comfortable sofas, watch a film on the Smart TV, or just embrace the views, plan your activities and catch up on each other’s news. If you decide to eat in, the dining table is the perfect setting for everyone to gather around. The kitchen is a lovely space to get creative with your local produce purchases, with all the equipment you need and a bistro table and chairs to peruse the cookery books. This is a lovely house for families and friends to get together.

Lovely stay in The Old Coach House. Views are stunning. Location was perfect. Weather could have been better. Lovely cottage for 6 adults/older children; would not recommend for young children.
