The cottage is located on the periphery of the village of Sageston, just a short drive from both Tenby and Saundersfoot. The village has two pubs and a restaurant and offers walking routes out to Carew and Milton. Explore Carew Castle and grounds or take a scenic walk around the mill pond. For family days out you're spoiled for choice with Manor Wildlife Park (2.2. miles), Heatherton World of Activities (2.2 miles) Folly Farm (6.2 miles) and Oakwood Theme Park (7.6 miles) offering plenty of choices to keep the family entertained. For a day at the beach, head to the popular coastal town of Tenby (5 miles) which offers four golden sand beaches to enjoy as well as boat trips out to Caldey Island from its iconic harbour during the Summer season.

As you enter the converted barn cottage you are welcomed into a beautiful open-plan lounge/ kitchen/diner. The cosy lounge area enjoys a three seater chaise sofa and separate armchair centred around the Smart TV. Curl up at night in front of the large wood burner and relax with a good book while listening to the fire crackle. There's a dining table for 6 which leads off to the well-equipped, cottage kitchen. Completing the ground floor is a convenient boot room and additional entrance point for the cottage. Downstairs on the basement level is a utility room with a washer/dyer. Head up the stairs and you will find the family bathroom on the half-landing. The bathroom boasts a large double bath with an overhead shower - perfect for a long soak after a day of exploring the county. Carry on up to the first floor and you will find the three, spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, FreeSat TV, and an en suite wet room. The second bedroom has a double bed and Smart TV and the third room is a twin bedroom. All rooms have underfloor heating and provide ample storage for clothes and belongings and offer a relaxing and tranquil space to rest on your holiday.

Externally, the cottage enjoys a generously proportioned garden. There is a patio area with outdoor dining furniture and charcoal BBQ to make the most of the warmer evenings. Just a few steps from the patio you will find a large, raised lawned area - perfect for children and dogs to run around and play.

Fabulous cottage with everything you need, a real home from home. The garden is lovely, with a large patio area and a big lawn, all fully enclosed. Walking distance to three pubs and Carew castle which we did. All are dog friendly. There are many lovely beaches and attractions very close by...the majority of which can be reached in 15 to 30 mins soRead more a great base for exploring this area of Wales. We had a lovely stay here and would thoroughly recommend. Hide

This cottage was perfect!! It had everything and more. Very clean and spacious. A lovely tasty welcome pack greeted us upon arrival. Our dogs loved their holiday too. Cannot fault Apple Tree Barn & will definitely return!

A superb cottage in beautiful surroundings, great for Harry Potter fans as you can visit dobbys resting place. Lovely welcoming gifts from a pair of hosts that are extremely accommodating. The cottage has everything u need & more. You wont need lots of warm clothes in the winter has the under floor heating and the wood burner does the trick. Would Read morehighly recommend and if we ever come back to wales we know where to stay. I would say the pictures dont do it enough justice much bigger in reality. Hide

Thank you for a calm, relaxing stay. We have had a lovely break at Apple Tree cottage celebrating my 40th birthday (thank you for my bubbly gift!) A lovely cottage in a nice position within walking distance to a pub and lovely walks around the castle at Carew. The cottage had everything you would need for your holiday and the dog proof garden was lovely. The beds were comfy too. Just one thing to note that there are a few steep steps to get down to the cottage entrance.

The barn is a really lovely place to stay its spacious and has great facilities. Highly recommend staying here. The location is fantastic.

This is a lovely cottage which has everything you could possibly need. Lovely sunny garden and patio area. Dogs are very well catered for too. Great location - you can walk to Carew castle which was our favourite. But also easy driving distance of Tenby Saundersfoot Pembroke etc.

WOW.. Tranquil.. Beautiful.. Gorgeous.. Amazing Location... I could go on. Sam & Kate our host's were amazing & they have an brilliant home, it's most defiantly a home from home. It's got everything you need & more, all you do need if food & you're truly set for an amazing holiday. It's the first time we've taken both dogs away with us, they loved Read moreit & didn't want to leave. Everything was with in about 5 mile ratios, beach, Saundersfoot & Tenby. This is an amazing breakaway destination, a dog friendly property that offers a dog a big garden and good access to local shops. The owners of the cottage where really helpful and very prompt at responding to queries.

The cottage was beautiful and there was everything to hand. Lovely garden and patio area which is definitely a sun trap. I cannot fault anything. A suggestion to have a half shower door in the main shower en suite to prevent bedroom carpet getting wet.

Perfect modern/rustic high end split level barn conversion. Close to all South Wales beaches. Good foody pub in village :The Carew Inn. Super open plan downstairs with fab kitchen and appliances; comfy leather sofa.Really useful lower level utility room ( especially when you're catering for dogs) Huge master bedroom with walk in ensuite wet room. FRead moreamily bathroom on first landing has double bath with shower over! All immaculate. We will be back in summer to enjoy the south facing sunken patio. Hide
