This charming character cottage is located just outside the small village of Llanlwni in Carmarthenshire, part of the Cambrian mountains and in the heart of the Welsh countryside. The village centre can be reached in just a mile either on foot or by car and boasts a couple of bar restaurants and a village shop. Head further afield to Llandysul (7.5 miles) or Lampeter (8.8 miles) which have a bigger variety of independent and chain shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. There is plenty of countryside to be explored from the front door but if you feel like a day at the coast, head to Cardigan Bay which can be reached in 20 miles and take your pick of Llangrannog, Aberporth or Tresaith.

As you enter the cottage, you are welcomed into the generously sized, open-plan, lounge/ kitchen /diner. There are two leather three-seater sofas, a leather two-seater plus additional tub chair centred around the TV and wood burner. This is the perfect spot to relax after day exploring and, during cooler months, light a fire and unwind if you wish. There is a large, custom dining table provided adjacent to the kitchen which has been equipped with all the necessities to prepare and serve a meal for your holiday group. The first of four bedrooms in this cottage, a twin room with en-suite wet room, is just off the lounge, offering level access. Head downstairs to the lower ground floor and you'll find three other en-suite bedrooms. The family bedroom has a king-size bed plus additional single bed, there's another king-size room plus a further double bedroom. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with shower over the bath. The bespoke carpentry and traditional furniture really offer up country charm and most rooms have rural views, some of the old water mill. Completing this level is a utility area with convenient washer/dryer.

Externally, there is a patio terrace with outdoor seating to enjoy dining alfresco during the summer months. Please note the patio is not enclosed so dogs must be kept on the lead at all times. There is also a shared BBQ area for guests to use with masonry BBQ grills and picnic bench seating.
