Detached house for the family, including the dogs, with all your creature comforts and a games room, in an idyllic riverside location on the Lliw River in Llanuwchllyn. Perfect to relax and unwind, the property also enjoys private fishing rights from the garden. It is located just 4.5 miles from Bala, which boasts a range of cafes, pubs and shops, as well as a swimming pool and Wales’s largest natural lake. Enjoy canoeing, paddleboarding and boating, stroll around the lake, take a ride on the steam railway and embrace the views and wildlife. For the more adventurous, there’s the National White-Water Centre, and the mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin (8 miles). Being in Southern Snowdonia you can enjoy a plethora of footpaths and cycle routes, superb fishing, varied activities and events amidst breathtaking scenery.

As you approach the house, you cant help but admire the beautiful riverside location. Step inside, hang up your outdoor attire in the utility boot room with WC, and start exploring the house. The kitchen is a lovely space to get creative, with all the equipment you need. The dining table is the perfect setting to gather round and enjoy a meal with background music and plan your holiday activities. After dinner, continue through to the spacious lounge with comfortable sofas, Smart TV and wood burner for cosy nights in. Wander through to the conservatory, with underfloor heating; relax on the sofas, open the door and let the outside in whilst you embrace the stunning views over the garden and Lliw River. If you fancy something more active, go out to the games room with football table, or wheel out the table tennis in the covered area. When ready for bed, you have three bedrooms to choose from upstairs, all have been designed for a good night’s sleep and have lovely views to wake up to. There is a king-size, double and a bunk room. Also on this floor is the family bathroom with bath, shower and WC.

The house sits in an elevated position commanding superb views of the trees, lawn and river. Enjoy riverside fishing (don’t forget your rods!), a paved area with table, chairs and charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining, and an abundance of wildlife. There is a covered area for the table tennis and lockable brick bike store for your bikes.

We enjoyed our week Lovely cottage , modern ,excellent furnishings riverside location and garden ideal The owner was quite helpful when contacted but we still felt no access to control the heating or hot water was inconvenient as the last few days were chilly

Absolutely stunning place.Garden and stream a joy to behold.Plenty of birds to feed. Cottage has all you need for a comfortable stay.Plenty of room. Sad to leave.

Unbelievable!!! Pictures don't do true justice to portray the beautiful landscape, plants flowers and streams which act like a private place to paddle and take a dip! The house is spacious and luxurious, with the jacuzzi bath a great bonus! Highly recommended

Beautiful property in a stunning location. The owners have thought of everything and even made shire we mad fresh milk bread and coffee and tea. 100% recommend. Stunning property set in a beautiful area of Wales.

Super cottage, spacious, comfortable, clean - a totally relaxing space. The garden is lovely - secure for the dogs to have a run around. Location is great, lovely and quiet, no noise other than the bubbling river, but only a short drive to Bala, with some lovely walks on the doorstep. Lovely welcome package
