This light and airy cottage boasts spacious accommodation and a warming wood burner for romantic evenings in.

Peacefully tucked away into the side of a valley, this property overlooks open countryside and is ideally placed for keen walkers, cyclists and explorers. The picturesque hamlet of Saunders Green is an ideal base from which to discover the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, a beautiful area boasting an array of walking, cycling and riding paths. For the more adventurous, caving, abseiling and canoeing are all available nearby. Also within easy reach is the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye, which offers a good choice of cafes, restaurants and shops.

With slate flooring, high ceilings and fresh decor, this property offers comfortable accommodation to suit all tastes. In the kitchen you will find everything you should need during your stay, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Enjoy romantic meals for two at the table in the lounge/diner, before settling in for a night in front of the wood burner, TV / DVD and Bluetooth speaker nearby. The double bedroom is clean and fresh with a large sky light letting in plenty of natural light. There is an en-suite shower room with WC.

Outside there is a pretty patio area with garden furniture for enjoying BBQs. This area leads onto an enclosed lawn beyond that’s perfect for dogs.

Lovely lodge- ideal for long dog walks through the forest. The enclosed garden was great for us and the dogs plus the arrival of the occasional sheep provided entertainment!

Just returned after a weeks holiday at Bramley Lodge with our two dogs. Very dog friendly with a fully enclosed garden enjoyed by both ourselves and dogs. Situated in a quiet hamlet in the Forest of Dean with lots of forest walks practically on your doorstep. Cottage very well equipped and scrupulously clean. Lovely cottage set in a peaceful location. Sharon was very welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Garden very safe and secure for our 2 dogs. Lots of equipment in the kitchen and spacious living area for 2 people. Upstairs was a comfortable bed it was a warm room but a large fan was provided. Great place to visit. Safe garden for dogs. Even our sausages never got out Sheep every where. Unfortunately my dogs like the poo they deposited so had to watch every thing .but great walks away from poo.

One of best cottages we have ever stayed at Sharon very welcoming and friendly and wanted to make sure everything was perfect very well equipped comfy bed very spacious living area We have a small dog and we are always worried about him getting out but garden was very safe. The cottage was clean and easy to use. Dog loved the walks direct from the front door and we all loved the little lambs and sheep in the field behind the cottage. Everything about the cottage - the owners, surroundings, pubs etc were absolutely amazing. Needless to say we felt very much at home along with our 3 spaniels. We would definitely recommend this cottage.

Very well equipped cottage - quiet & relaxing location. Ideal escape from it all place right on the edge of the Forest of Dean. Lovely walks on the doorstep and cosy lounge with log burner to snuggle up in front of in colder weather.

Perfect stay for forest walks with a dog. The garden is properly enclosed (the owners even put a section of mesh over a gate as we were worried our dog might jump it). It's a very cosy cottage - and you can walk straight out of the door and be in the forest.

This is a lovely place to stay, nicely tucked away and peaceful but still close enough to pop into town for your supplies. Look out for the local sheep, they like to sleep behind your car! Thoroughly recommended.

We had a lovely stay here, great hosts! I would only advise that due to the area restrictions wifi isnt exactly available and the shower isnt for anyone tall. The location is near lots of great walks and excellent shops and restaurants nearby which is exactly what we wanted for our holiday. Although the rules suit us it could be an issue for other Read moredog owners, no dogs upstairs. Just one to note. But overall lovely break away!! Hide

Yes, highly. Charming cottage. Spacious and cosy, especially with the log burner going! Nice comfy bed. Extremely well equipped kitchen, everything you could ever need including lunch boxes and drinking bottles. Enclosed garden meant we could just leave the back door open for the dog. Owners easily contactable and informative if required.

We spent a lovely 4 days at Bradley Lodge. It was beautifully clean and had everything we needed. The location is ideal, very peaceful and even sheep at the bottom of the garden. The owners were great and so helpful. I would certainly book again.

A lovely quiet spot for a relaxing break. The lodge was well equipped and had plenty of space for us and our 3 dogs. The garden was a great space for relaxing.

North Wales

South Wales

West Wales

Encompassing the counties of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire, as well as the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, West Wales is a spectacular peninsula. If you’re looking to spot dolphins, seals and puffins, and experience some of the cleanest waters in the country, then this is the place.

Wander the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, hop aboard a boat trip to the wildlife sanctuaries of Ramsey, Skomer or Skokholm Islands, or visit the Cistercian monks of Caldey Island. For a beach day, lounge on the soft sands of Barafundle Bay or stroll through the charming streets of Tenby, Laugharne or St Davids.
