Located in Arthog close to the historic market town of Dolgellau and the coastal village of Fairbourne boasting a steam railway, summer water taxi to Barmouth, pubs, restaurant, shops, sandy beach and craggy cliffs. With so many activities from swimming to sailing, fishing to horse riding, walking to cycling and the host of attractions to visit such as King Arthurs Labyrinth, Portmeirion, the zip wire and Bounce Below, there is always something to see and do. Join the plethora of footpaths and cycle routes along the coast, Mawddach Estuary and across the majestic countryside in Snowdonia National Park. A perfect location to explore the best North Wales has to offer.

This stunning barn conversion is a delight as soon as you arrive, the entrance hall has oodles of space for your coats and boots with the staircase leading up to the fabulous lounge/kitchen/diner. The architect designed barn oozes character with high ceilings, exposed beams and enormous glass windows along the front of the open-plan living area from floor to ceiling, capturing the breath-taking views from sunrise to sunset. The stylish well-equipped kitchen is a lovely space to rustle up a meal with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, wine cooler, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and all the thoughtful little extras. After dinner relax on the large sofas, plan your activities, listen to music on the soundbar or watch a film on the TV with built-in Freeview. Heading back down to the ground floor there are two lovely bedrooms to choose from the super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with contemporary en-suite shower and WC or the cosy double with door to the garden. To finish the accommodation is the chic bathroom, with bath, separate shower and WC, perfect to take a leisurely bubble bath.

To the front of the property is the lawned garden with table and chairs to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon tea and al fresco dining, maybe use the charcoal BBQ whilst embracing the stunning views. There is private parking at the property for one car. There are gates either side of the front garden and parking area which creates an enclosed garden for the complex.

Superb accomadation! Great location with lovely views, had absolutely everything we needed and more. Really comfy and great decor. Owners are really informative and sent lots of useful info. by e mail before our stay. Would definitely recommend East Hay Barn. We had a fantastic stay there!

We had a fantastic holiday at East Hay Barn. The barn is beautiful and tastefully decorated and had all the amenities which we needed. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating, with many great recommendations. The location is perfect with only a short walk into beautiful Barmouth. We cant wait to return!

The barn appartment is very spacious with a magnificant view on the valley on one side and a lively green nature rock on the other side, the living room and kitchen are designed in one space which gives it in combination with the high ceiling of the roof the feeling of a loft, highly recommendable, we had a very pleasant stay

We loved the accommodation. Especially the little details, lots of cushions, throws and welcome pack of milk etc also lots of crockery and cutlery which is also great when there is a dishwasher. there was outside patio set but only 3 chairs ..odd.. the bench was peeling paint so it was not really useable. The cottage is in a great location to tour around the surrounding area. The Welcome pack of Welsh goodies was a nice surprise. The facilities are good, the wine fridge and spotting scope were lovely added extras. The views from the cottage were part of the reason for booking and they didn't fail to impress. A stunning cottage. We loved our stay. The cottage was immaculately clean and very comfortable. All we needed in the kitchen and generally well equipped. The location is perfect. The barn is slightly quirky in that the two comfy bedrooms are on the first floor one on-suite, and a separate bathroom. The combined living space / kitchen is on the second floor, and this makes perfect sense to take full advantage of the brilliant views. We had an amazing week's holiday at East Hay Barn. We are a family of four, 2 adults, a 12 and a 5 year old. The property is in an excellent location from which to explore the area by car or on foot. A beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Amazing views and walks nearby. Very peaceful, relaxing and tranquil. The cottage is furnished well and looks really stylish. The owners left some great books to read and maps with local walks. We had wonderful weather as it was the height of summer but I imagine it would be beautiful during all seasons. Great property, brilliantly positioned. Living accommodation on the first floor allows superb views of the hills, aided even further by enormous windows. Plenty seating in different areas, including outside. Car parking very near for unloading. A beautiful building, sympathetically modernised and well equipped. A lovely, super clean cottage in the perfect position to explore the seaside, and the mountains. With relaxing views out of those huge windows; a perfect setting to recover from the day's busyness.

A very comfortable cottage with easy parking and a small outside space from which the views can be enjoyed whilst relaxing. Comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The cottage is located in a beautiful area with many easily accessible walks, whilst being convenient for a number of more challenging hikes at a short car ride away.
