Truly the most beautiful cottage in a picture perfect location. We were met by Lady Hanmer on our arrival, she gave us a quick introduction to the house and then left us to get on with our break. The welcome treats were a lovely touch. Absolutely one of the loveliest places I've had the pleasure to stay in. Already looking forward to our next stay.Read more Hide

Excellent accommodation, very nicely renovated, peaceful village life and a local shop/post office with locally sourced produce right on your door step. Unfortunately the pub reopened the day we left for home so we we unable to sample and comment on the local pub, but I expect it is a good community atmosphere.
